Brochure Margins

Brochure Margins - Though no universal standard for brochure margins exists, 0.25 inches is. For brochure design, use a 15mm margin on all edges except for the binding edge. Bleeds extend beyond the final trim size of your document, while margins are the inner space. Ensure you select the option for a “brochure”. Margins are the blank space around the edges of your brochure where content isn’t placed. Click on the margins button in the upper left corner of your screen. Choose between half fold to 4.25″ x 11″,. Place vertical guides where the brochure should fold, and set the margins (top/bottom). Click on margins in the layout tab. Proper margins ensure enough space around text and images, making the brochure look clean and readable.
